The Beach Houses
The four beach houses are individually designed, each having its own
personality and charm. Offering a choice of classical and modern Tongan accommodation allows you to select your own personal Vava'u holiday.
Blue House - $150 TOP a night
The lovingly furnished blue beach house is suitable for two
persons with a queen sized bed. The covered porch offers a wonderful view on the ocean.
The house has its own bathroom with hot shower and a kitchen with a fridge and a gas
stove. The large mosquito protected door and windows make it very
breezy. Furthermore, the house is equipped with a fan.
Green House - $170 TOP a night
This cozy house fits 2-3 people on two floors. It has a queen sized bed down stairs and a single in the loft area. It has a covered porch
facing the ocean. The bathroom has a warm fresh water shower. The house has a kitchen with a fridge and a gas
stove. The house is
breezy, with doors and windows being mosquito protected, and has a fan.
Traditional Fale - $80 TOP a night
This is probably our most popular unit, but it is not for everyone. It is for people longing to experience the old Tongan way of life. It is built in the traditional way out of sticks and palm trees and offers
space for two people. The Full sized (double) bed is shielded with a mosquito net.
The many window flaps can be opened individually according to personal liking,
offering a striking view of the ocean. A separate room within the fale
provides a table and seats. The bathroom block is located separately with toilet, cold water shower and sink. According to tradition, the fale does not have electricity,
but can be lit up at night with Kerosene lamps.
Small Fale - $70 TOP a night
The small thatched fale is perfect for the couple on a budget. It has two single beds with mosquito netting and could also be
rented for the kids while Mom and Dad stay in a larger fale. This one does have electricity. The bathroom is located
separately, with toilet, cold water shower and sink.
We have had many requests for a place to prepare food for the guests in the Tongan Fales. We are finished with a fale just for that purpose. It has running water, pots, pans and a chilly bin to store food.
There is a 2 burner stove top for cooking.
This is the area for gathering after the days adventures and tell your stories. It is also where we serve meals to guests that have requested them. We have a book exchange, magazines, board games and power outlets to charge your electronics.

I though I would put this in to show the layout of the property. Lucky's is a small compound and we love spending time with all our guests learning about them and their many adventures. Not really sure of the scale
